The Capstan design provides reduced problems with jaw breaks associated with testing of
this sensitive specimens.
Specimen loading is easy, place it over the top of the horn and clamp it pneumatically by the foot- or handswitch with the possibility to adjust the clamping force according to specimen’s strength, material, and surface.
The grips are available for tensile forces of 200 N, 2000 N, 5000 N or 10 kN.
